My Bio
Over the past two decades, I've stimulated growth and change in national, small to midsized organizations. With extensive experience in B2B and B2C marketing and creative leadership, I am able to step in, assess the situation, then lead business transformation that impacts both the top and the bottom line. I am currently with Sg2, the leading provider of market analytics, intelligence and consulting services to help healthcare executives seize opportunities for growth. I lead the Marketing Creative Services team responsible for brand evolution, marketing collateral, sales support and a diverse range of strategic marketing initiatives targeted to C-suite healthcare leadership.
Prior to this, I was a Vice President at Krames StayWell -- the largest provider of digital, print and mobile patient education solutions, consumer health information,
and population health management communications in the USA.
I directed marketing and creative efforts through my team of 30
who consulted with hospitals and health plans nationwide in the
development of health magazines, digital newsletters and direct
marketing programs targeted to segments that included women,
baby boomers, parents, physicians, and Medicare and Medicaid
populations. To keep clients happy and sharpen our competitive
edge, I led the charge to build a custom photo and infographics library.
Prior to Krames StayWell, I held marketing and business development roles at StayWell Custom Communications, Health Newsletters Direct, Women’s Healthcare Consultants, and a famly-owned California-based fresh fruit and gourmet food catalog company.
I've spoken at national healthcare marketing conferences on topics that include direct marketing, lead generation, and publication strategies to drive ROI, and am invited regularly to judge in national awards programs. I attended University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising. Go Illini!
I have served on the board of directors for the Northbrook Symphony and the Northbrook Women's Club, enabling me to build community connections and apply my expertise to help these non-profits meet their goals. I've held additional board positions at Wescott Elementary School, Southbridge Commons Homeowner’s Association and Stonegate Homeowner’s Association. I was a docent for many years at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio in Oak Park, Illinois.
My husband and I live in Northbrook, Illinois with our two teenage children. I've lived in the Chicagoland area for many years, but am originally from Springfield, IL -- a town
most famous as the “Land of Lincoln” and home to numerous historic treasures
including Lincoln’s Home, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library,
New Salem, as well as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Dana Thomas House. Are you
a foodie? Ask me about my home town's "culinary treasure" the infamous
horseshoe sandwich.
Oh yes, I fogot to mention my dog Harley. He is a delightful, cute and rambunctious Havanese.
He loves to go for long walks, chase mini tennis balls, and hang out with the fam!
